working with the community for the community since 1969. Our organisation works to improve the lives of local people in the South County Dublin area through voluntary and community action.

We provide a wide range of supportive local community services and projects, for senior citizens, people with a disability, young people, unemployed or any person who finds themselves overwhelmed and in need of some support to get through.

was originally established as the Community Welfare Service, and very soon after became Tallaght Welfare Society (TWS). The organisation played a principle role in developing many of the key community services currently operating in Tallaght. In 2009 we rebranded and expand our range of services across the South County Dublin area

However, changing the name has not change our core values or the guiding principles of the organisation. We still retain our focus on individual rights such as respect, freedom from poverty and injustice; the right to education, employment and the opportunity to make a difference.  We engage in this process through voluntary and community action, by direct and supported service provision, embracing existing and proposed new partnership arrangements along with the continued support of our  generous sponsors, we at Trustus look forward to building on our past successes and achieving even more over our next 40 years.
