At trustus we operate all our services and projects according to a core set of values and objectives aimed at benefiting the whole community of South County Dublin

Trustus work to improve the lives of local people as an agent of change involving voluntary and community action through direct and supported service provision.
Our core values
We have always had an anti-poverty focus and work tirelessly in promoting the concept of partnership and co-operation across all sectors in tackling anti-poverty issues. The guiding ethos of trustus is a self-help model based on a philosophy of personal and community development and the belief that;
Every individual has the right to be treated with respect and without discrimination
Every individual has the right to be free from poverty and social injustice
Every individual has the right to work and to receive an education
Everyone should have the right to identify their own needs and to participate in the work for change, on their own behalf and on behalf of their community
All members of society should be given the opportunity to embrace life on a level playing field.
Our objectives
The main objectives of trustus are:
- To be a catalyst in community development
- To assist and support other voluntary organizations
- To liaise with local authorities and state agencies
- To be alert to the needs and requirements of our communities and bring their issues to the attention of the relevant state departments and its agencies
- To act as a lobbyist on issues of concern
- To develop new actions or groups to address the needs or gaps in service provision
- To support families across South County Dublin offering them opportunities in training, education and employment
- To provide Information to the community
- To provide community care services
- To facilitate the personal and professional development of the trustus staff

All our activities are aimed at creating a better, fairer and more just society and community for everyone; whether disabled, elderly, unemployed or just over-stretched we’re here to provide the care, support, education and expertise that gets people through.
